"Body Under Pressure. A Different Wind"

When a political system changes, a different wind blows. As an interdisciplinary core artistic team, Amit Abend (dance), Svea Duwe (spatial installation & performative costumes) and Rosa Klee (voice, composition) develop scenarios in various spaces of villa\wigman around the question of how this different political wind affects artistic production. They are supported in this by Marco Prill (videography/projection) and Sara Scarella (dance). What emerges is a field of tension between the personal and the collective, one that also draws in the audience.

Here, stone itself is understood as a body under pressure. As it is carried, its weight, texture and temperature affect how one moves or feels. Change in political conditions manifests itself in architecture, the body and clothing, subtly and steadily transforming how we live together. But how can we influence the wind of history? The team's answer: with a fan.
