Space for Performing Arts

villa\wigman, located on Bautzner Straße 107 in Dresden, is the former domain of dancer and choreographer Mary Wigman.

villa\wigman opens up space for performing arts - locally, nationally and internationally. We support research, residencies, rehearsals and networks. We preserve the history of the place for a moving future and set a contemporary course in the society of Dresden.

Renovation of the green roof

As part of the renovation of the roof and façade of the intermediate building in the villa\wigman building ensemble, the former historical use of Mary Wigman is to be restored as a walkable and planted green roof. In addition to public funding, the Villa Wigman for Dance Association is dependent on donations.

With the help of your donation on betterplace.org, the planting on the planned roof with intensive greenery can be financed!
