100+1 Years of Mary Wigman
Between 1920-42, Mary Wigman created a place where teaching and learning, dance and choreography, living and working were united. Through inspiring and glorious, as well as crisis-ridden times, this house had always been a place for exchange, for development and unfolding perspectives on art and life. One hundred and one years later, artists develop their artistic perspectives at the historical place of villa\wigman, where learning - living - dancing is implemented through the independent performing arts for 1.5 years.

The 100-year anniversary of Wigman school was originally planned for 2020 and was rescheduled, re-planned and adapted several times due to the covid pandemic. On the weekend of 3./4.7.2021, different formats about the three topics learning - living - dancing took place as a course and artistic interventions, gouged tours, talks, discussions, workshops, exhibitions and a saloon of knowledge.
