Residence certificate for funding
from the Performing Arts Fund

villa\wigman will award a maximum of two residence certificates as the basis for a residence grant from the Performing Arts Fund between 15 May and 15 November 2026.

Application documents

Your application should be no longer than one A4 page (as a PDF) and contain the following information:

• Project description (max. 1,500 characters): Description of your artistic project
• Short biography (max. 500 characters)
• A meaningful link to your artistic work
• Name of a publicly funded production (title and year) from the last three years
• Preferred period for the residency between 15 May and 15 November 2026
• Intended amount of funding
• Number of people involved in the residency
• Contact details

Selection process

The jury for the selection of the two applications is the management team of villa\wigman, consisting of Julia Amme, Katja Erfurth and Josefine Wosahlo. The final application with a detailed concept must be submitted to the Performing Arts Fund by 2 March 2026. The decision on the residency will be made by the Performing Arts Fund.
