For the renovation of the walls, non-adherent plaster was removed, oily paint was milled off, the plaster was repaired, filled and smoothed and coated with breathable silicate paint. The color scheme of all the rooms, which Mary Wigman shaped in the style of classical modernism, will be brought back to life in some areas in coordination with the heritage office and the current use as workspaces. The paintwork in the corridors also followed the restoration findings from Mary Wigman's historical period of work and in sections, the green tones of the building's original period were restored.

The restoration work in the longitudinal and transverse corridors of the intermediate building is now coming to a halt until the doors to the hall have been renewed.
