Renovation of the small hall

From May 2024, the floor in the Small Hall was renewed to match the Red Hall. The original ceiling beams could not be preserved in this area due to the dilapidated substance caused by previous moisture damage. The ceiling was rebuilt as a wooden beam construction in line with its original state. The underfloor heating and screed were also laid and a sprung dance floor installed. The renovation work lasted until October 2024.

Since May 2024, the floor in the Small Hall has been renewed in the same way as the Red Hall. This renovation phase includes the renewal of the floor in both the basement and non-basement areas in order to meet fire, thermal insulation and structural requirements. The original ceiling beams could not be preserved in this area due to the dilapidated substance caused by previous moisture damage. The ceiling was rebuilt as a wooden beam construction based on the condition at the time of construction.

Underfloor heating and screed have also already been laid. Once the screed has dried, a professional dance floor will be installed in September 2024. The walls of the Small Hall were already renovated in 2023. Only the original door from 1927 will be refurbished as part of this renovation work.
