we are delighted that the Tanzplattform Deutschland is coming to Dresden in March 2026! This event will give artists from Dresden and Saxony the opportunity to showcase their work in two exciting formats. villa\wigman, Societaetstheater and TanzNetzDresden invite you to submit your ideas and artistic interventions.

Show Up! – Late-Night Special on 13 March 2026

Seven artists or duos will present artistic interventions from the Dresden dance and performance scene. Starting at 10 p.m. at the Societaetstheater – an evening for drinks, conversations and performative encounters. Whether site-specific performance, flash mob or short piece: show us your ideas!

Pitching – Networking with an expert audience on 15 March 2026

Five dance professionals or companies based in Saxony will present their artistic practice to curators, producers and event organisers. Sunday, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at villa\wigman – the perfect opportunity for new collaborations!

PARCOURS³ #2 by
Charles A. Washington

On 19 October, PARCOURS³ #2 premiered with two performances at villa\wigman. In this special performance, Charles A. Washington and three artists explored various aspects of Mary Wigman's life and legacy from a mythological and artistic perspective. The audience was free to move through four rooms of villa\wigman. Each room offered its own perspective on Wigman – inspired by historical texts and the views of artists such as Martha Graham, Vaslav Nijinsky and Jérôme Bel. Photographic insights from the two performances on 19 October can now be found on our website.

Next performances: On 23 November, you can experience PARCOURS³ #2 once again – at 12 noon and 3 p.m. at villa\wigman. All information about advance ticket sales can be found on our website.
