He leaves an immeasurable gap in his family and also in villa\wigman. Since the first endeavour ten years ago to preserve this historic dance venue, he was an expert companion, advisor, initiator and friend. He has contributed to the architecture, dance and art with his great expertise and his passionate heart. He delved into the visible and invisible history of Mary Wigman's place of work and treated it with the utmost care, seriousness and sensitivity.

In doing so, he has always been guided by his many years of experience with listed buildings, as well as by his approachability, open-mindedness and enthusiasm for the villa\wigman. It is unimaginable that he will no longer be standing in the doorway and on the roof of villa\wigman.

Holm Pinkert studied landscape architecture at the TU Dresden. He had been a member of the Saxony Chamber of Architects since 1991 and was licensed as an architect and landscape architect (Dipl. Ing.) In the same year, he founded the Pinkert architectural office. His last company name was Architektur.Werk Pinkert.
