We are looking for your ideas and artistic interventions!

We are looking for your artistic interventions for a late-night special at the Societaetstheater as part of the Tanzplattform Deutschland 2026. We are looking for seven artists – individuals or duos – to present artistic interventions from the Dresden dance and performance scene on this evening.

The evening will take place on Friday, 13 March 2026, after the main programme at 10 p.m. and will provide a setting for drinks, conversations and performative encounters. Whether site-specific performance, flash mob, short piece or excerpt from a piece – we look forward to receiving your submissions by 20 November 2025!

Pitching

As part of Tanzplattform Deutschland 2026, the pitching event offers five professional dance artists or companies based in Saxony the opportunity to present their artistic practice to an expert audience. The event will take place on Sunday, 15 March 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at villa\wigman.

The format facilitates encounters between artists and professionals from various fields, including curators, producers, event organisers and programme makers. The presentations are intended to arouse curiosity, initiate collaborations and highlight the diversity of the Saxon dance scene. We look forward to receiving your submissions by 20 November 2025.
